Bandwidth and Power Allocation for a Multi-beam Satellite Communication System in the Japanese Islands

Abstract(in English) Multi-beam systems have become the mainstream for satellite communications because they can make effective use of frequency and power. We develop a simulator that can calculate the throughput of users in the service area for multi-beam. Using the developed simulator, we estimated the amount of frequency bands and power allocation for each beam to increase the throughput in the Japanese Islands.
