Proposal of a method to change eating behavior in remote co-eating and verification of its effect on enjoyment

Abstract(in English) Although co-eating is restricted to prevent infection, it is said that the enjoyment of meals at remote co-eating varies greatly compared to those at in-person co-eating. In this study, we focused on eating tools from among the items that are thought to affect the enjoyment of co-eating. and conducted an experiment to examine whether the type of eating tool can change conversation and eating behavior in a remote environment, and thus affect the enjoyment of eating. we used a dessert spoon and a teaspoon as eating tools under the condition of eating curry together, and compared their eating enjoyment. As a result, the difference in eating behavior and conversation was not quantitatively affected by the use of different tools, but it was suggested that eating with a dessert spoon tended to be more enjoyable than eating with a teaspoon.
