Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Random walks on graphs have been used in various graph algorithms. The first meeting time is defined by the time it takes for multiple agents starting random walks from different nodes on a graph to first meet at the same node, and is closely related to the rendezvous problem, which is an essential graph problem in computer science. In the previous work, we analyzed random walk agents following different transition probabilities, and derived the spectral formula for the expected value of their first meeting time. In this paper, through experiments, we confirm the validity of the analysis of the previous work, and predict the characteristics of the first meeting time from the derived spectral formula for the expected value of the first meeting time. Then, we confirm the validity of the predicted characteristics through the experiments.
