Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Although it is well known that whole-body vibration enhances sense of reality perceived by multimodal content, it is unclear how to generate effective vibration information. In this study, we have focused on the magnitude of whole-body vibration, and investigated the relationship between the optimal magnitude of the whole-body vibration and audio-visual information. Subjects were asked to adjust the magnitude of the whole-body vibration presented with audio-visual content. The results of the experiments suggest that the optimal magnitude of the whole-body vibration is estimated by audio-visual features in the audio-visual content.
