Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In recent years, due to the declining birthrate, aging population, and declining population, the problem of managing local infrastructure has become more serious in mountainous regions. In the case of agricultural water, for example, the water is automatically pumped from the storage tank to the water tank for use. However, in the event of a problem, the user is not aware of it until the water tank runs dry. In addition, each water tank is located far from private houses and facing a steep slope. In addition, since each water tank is located far from private houses and facing a steep slope, it has been difficult for the elderly to check the water tanks. By using IoT technology and LPWA, which is a lower frequency band than conventional technology, the water level of each water tank can be constantly monitored, and when there is a danger of drought, the water level can be monitored. We developed and experimented with a service that constantly monitors the water level in each tank using IoT technology and LPWA, a lower frequency band than conventional methods, and notifies the user in real time when there is a danger of drought.
