Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this research, we aim at a stereoscopic aerial image with depth displayed for multiple audiences. Three layers of translucent acrylic sheets were arranged in parallel hexagons so as to be able to show images for multiple different directions. A projector installed on the top of each layer projects a two-dimensional character onto each layer to create depth so that they show three-dimensional characters. As we aimed to create a new visual experience for the viewers by making them feel the reality of the characters that do not exist in the real world, we examined and confirmed that the increase of the number of layers and viewpoints give a sense of depth to the images and creates a novel and unexpected visual experience.
