Abstract(in English) Various types of all-optical modulation format conversion have been proposed for realizing low latency and efficient connection of networks that have different modulation formats. We have proposed an all-optical PAM4/16QAM conversion for connecting data center networks. In this paper, we numerically investigate the compensation of a timing shift between PAM4 signals before conversion using an adaptive equalizer at the receiver.
