Abstract(in English) | Due to the recent prevalence of security cameras, cameras are deployed at many locations. One of the applications using these cameras is human tracking. In most of the systems, cameras send feature data such as images or feature values of recorded humans to a processing server. The server identifies recorded humans by comparing the feature data. However, the loads for processing and communication on the server increase in proportional to the number of cameras since all of them send their feature data to the server. Human identification, without the server’s load increase even if the number of cameras increases, enables real-time human tracking. Hence, in this research, we propose a human tracking scheme in which feature data are transmitted among cameras. In the proposed scheme, the server’s load does not increase in proportional to the number of cameras since the loads do not concentrate on it. When humans are recorded after the transmissions of feature data, cameras can identify recorded humans. |
