Abstract(in English) The paper provides that the features of recent developed Rayleigh-based distributed optical fiber strain sensor, and the examples of monitored infrastructures for construction management. In addition, the sensor can contribute to maintain the structure in-service and to propose business continuity plan after disasters, with the use of its long lifetime.
