Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The authors extend the RFID international standard protocol, ISO/IEC18000-63, and study a wireless protocol that enables synchronous streaming using multiple subcarrier channels (hereafter referred to as channels). The synchronous streaming protocol enables multipoint synchronous sensing such as structural health monitoring and modal testing. For multipoint synchronous sensing, the challenge is to allocate channels to a large number of RF tags as quickly as possible. In this paper, we report and demonstrate the speedup achieved by relaxing the DCRO calibration threshold during channel allocation. As a comparison, we compared our results with the channel allocation time before the change. We report that the allocation time per channel is reduced by about 10% compared to the existing method.
