Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | We consider a visible light communication system using a digital signage and an image sensor. In order not to impair the visual quality of the background image of digital signage, modulation is performed by changing the color of the background image by taking advantage of the fact that changes in specific color components are difficult for the eyes to perceive. In previous studies, modulation was based on changing a single color component of the background image; however, the communication quality deteriorated depending on the background image. In this study, we propose a modulation method in which the background image does not affect the communication quality by multiplexing the modulation with two color components. In addition, the visual quality is improved by using uniform color space that can achieve uniform color changes for human eyes. |
