Termination Device for Mains Cable connected Outside of FAR

Abstract(in English) Radiation emission measurements of electronic devices in a fully anechoic room are now available. However, it has been reported that measurement variations occur between test sites because the common mode impedance of mains cable connected outside of FAR is not defined. In order to solve this problem, we have proposed HiZ-BoX, which is a device that defines the common mode impedance of the power supply. We have improved the test configuration to obtain more stable effect. We report that the outline and its effect were confirmed by experiments. Furthermore, it is reported that the impedance required for HiZ-BoX was derived using electromagnetic field simulation, and that HiZ-BoX was expressed by an equivalent circuit and its characteristics were explained.
