Abstract(in English) In recent years, Japan has been facing a serious problem of declining birthrates and an aging population. As the birthrate declines and the population ages, nursing care and medical costs are expected to increase, and the burden on the age group that supports the elderly will increase. Therefore, it is thought that health promotion of the elderly can solve these problems by extending their healthy life span and minimizing the time they need nursing care. Walking is one of the most common health promotion exercises. However, the risk of injury increases when walking is too strenuous, and this may lead to a decrease in continuity. In this study, we investigated the effect of heart rate on walking. In this paper, we report on a system that predicts the heart rate during walking and provides real-time feedback to improve health.
