Abstract(in English) | Reconstruction of the defect shape under a rough dielectric surface from the scattered wave can be applied to detect a buried defect in a glass substrate, semiconductor wafer, concrete, and soil. In this study, we applied the coupling analysis of boundary and volume integral equation methods. We propose two reconstruction processes applying the distorted-wave Born approximation and the Newton-Raphson method, and we discuss the accuracy and efficiency. Finally, we present some results of the reconstruction simulation, including the noise tolerance. |
