Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The passive running is a method to descend a slope by a running gait only using potential energy. As one of the specific examples, we proposed an extremely simple passive running model named bilateral arcs bouncing model consisting of two arcs which face each other. In this study, we propose a parameter identification method for the bilateral arcs bouncing model in order to reproduce human running behavior. Specifically, a cost function based on maximum absolute error is defined to compare the center of gravity of a human running with that of a bilateral arcs bouncing model. We solved a parameter identification problem to minimize this ost function. As a result, the bilateral arcs bouncing model with the identified parameter eproduced the human running behavior with 97.2% accuracy.
