Priority message statistics of disaster and crisis management report sent from quasi-zenith satellite Michibiki

Abstract(in English) The signals broadcast by the quasi-zenith satellite Michibiki include not only signals for positioning and augmentation, but also signals for emergency message transfer. In order to receive this disaster and crisis management report by a mobile receiver with a limited power capacity, the intermittent reception in which the signal is received only for a certain period and the receiver is put to sleep during another period is considered. Since there are various priority messages in the channel, we focus on making receivers to sleep as long as possible by efficiently receiving messages with high priority. In this paper,the statistics of disaster and crisis management reports broadcast by Michibiki over the one past year is analyzed and the intermittent reception parameters are considered.
