Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) As the use of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) is increasingly popular and advancing in various fields, the authors are working on a system that uses fixed-wing UAVs as video transmission relay station. As it requires a relatively long flight time, The use of fixed-wing UAVs is superior to other type of UAVs for using as a video relay station. In this paper, we report the results of the design of a fixed-wing UAV in terms of overall weight, flight speed, flight time, fuel, and payload, and verification on field test using an model aircraft.
