Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In recent years, the morbidity and mortality of heat-related illness have been increasing. The risk of heat stress is different depending on individual differences such as age and physique. Heat stress in worker also depends on the individual working environment, health conditions, and daily weather conditions. Therefore, it is important for each person to take measures such as break time and hydration. Our group have been developed a simplified thermodynamics model that can estimate body temperature in real time using wearable sensors. In this study, we propose a personalization method of sweating rate by data assimilation. We estimated the time course of body core temperature in the two types of field experiments using the proposed method. The results suggested that data assimilation can improve the delay in body temperature rise during the exercise.
