Abstract(in English) | Generalized modified prime sequence codes (GMPSCs) have been proposed as spreading codes for synchronous optical code division multiple access (CDMA). In this paper, we propose a two-layered spreading code based on GMPSC and investigate performance of a multi-rate transmission scheme using the proposed code. The multi-rate synchronous optical CDMA with the proposed code completely eliminates the multiple user interference and achieves no decoding error in an ideal noise-free channel. In addition, the error rate characteristics are evaluated by computer simulation. |
