Abstract(in English) Cage-shaped molecules have a large space inside the molecule, which allows molecules to be encapsulated and move in and out. Because of this characteristic, they are expected to be used as sensor materials containg guest molecules. In this study, we synthesized cage-shaped molecules using disk-like molecules as the molecular design. The structures and optical properties of these cage-shaped molecules have been investigated to form useful nanoelectronic devices.
