[Invited Talk] 10GbE fiber transmission 7.5GHz-band DBF using 1-bit direct digital RF transmitter

Abstract(in English) In DBF system, large number of element antennas should have each transceivers. The transceiver can be separated to an outdoor unit (antenna module which includes antenna and RF section) and indoor unit (DSP). In the case of large scale DBF, the coaxial cable connection between outdoor unit and indoor unit becomes a problem. In order to solve this problem, GbE optical fiber connection is introduced together with direct digital RF transmitter. By using 10GbE fiber system, 7.5GHz 4-elements DBF system has been developed and demonstrated.
