| Abstract(in English) | Recommender systems have been used in many online services, and people have been exposed to such recommendations frequently that they may have come to accept them without any consideration. In this paper, we call such an attitude of users toward recommender systems "recommendation overtrust" and develop a psychological scale to measure whether users fall into recommendation overtrust or not. The developed scale is applied to users who use the recommendation function of YouTube, and the reliability of the scale is confirmed. The developed scale was found to be consistent with the responses to the questionnaire items, and correlated with the overall trust and the two metrics in TAM. It was also found that user group with high frequency of the service has relatively high value in the developed scale. |
