| Abstract(in English) | As one of the social implementations of terahertz technology, our research group has been conducting research and development on sorting of waste plastics. Since the frequency of terahertz corresponds to the frequency of vibration between molecular chains constituting plastics, the dielectric constant in the terahertz band is sensitive not only to the material of plastics but also to additives and deterioration. In this presentation, we will report the current status of the development of plastic sorting equipment including sorting. |
