On the Advanced Demand Signal Ⅱh scheme

Abstract(in English) This paper proposes the advanced demand signals IIh scheme (ADS-IIh scheme) as well as the ADS IIh(a) scheme (ADS-IIh(a) scheme) with "the minimum green time" parameter adaptation function and makes performance comparisons with conventional schemes by using the microscopic simulator newly constructed. The results show that the ADS-IIh scheme has the best performance under the various traffic conditions in the evaluations and that the ADS-IIh(a) scheme's performance is close to it.
