Abstract(in English) | We propose a novel fiber-optic temperature sensing scheme which utilizes an amplified-spontaneous-emission emitted from an excited erbium-doped fiber, where the scheme has high temperature resolutions and good stability in time. Temperature sensing characteristics of the proposed scheme have been clarified by accurately measuring the amplified-spontaneous-emission power spectra. A temperature resolution as low as 0.024℃ in an measurement time of five minutes has been achieved. |
