Abstract(in English) The progression and therapeutic effect of diffuse liver disease can be quantitatively evaluated by the estimation of liver fibrosis. In this research, the classification of liver fibrosis stages based on convolutional neural network has been studied. In previous works, the classification accuracy of transfer learning using VGG-16 has been approximately 50 % in the case of ultrasound images whose amplitude probability density distributions become different from the Rayleigh distribution as the stages progress. In this paper, a method of inputting the modulated ultrasonic image (color image) by the moments of peripheral pixels instead of the conventional ultrasonic image (monochrome image) is proposed for further improving the classification accuracy.
