Abstract(in English) | In recent years, Information-Centric Networking (ICN), a network architecture that focuses on the information being transferred, rather than on the hosts transferring the information as in conventional TCP/IP networks, has been gaining attention. ICN adopts a communication paradigm that is very different from that of conventional TCP/IP such as receiver-driven anycast-type communication and routers in the network can potentially cache content. In this paper, we analyze the characteristics of the TCP CUBIC congestion avoidance algorithm in ICN through numerical simulations using the flow-level ICN simulator. |
