[Short Paper] Study on Performance Bottleneck Analysis of Flow-Level Information-Centric Network Simulator

Abstract(in English) In recent years, ICN (Information-Centric Networking) that focuses on the data being transferred, rather than hosts exchanging the data, has been attracting attention as one of promising next-generation Internet architectures. In our previous works, In this paper, we analyze the performance bottleneck of our ?ow-level simulator for ICN, FICNSIM (Fluid-based ICN SIMulator) by pro?ling. In particular, we analyze the performance bottleneck of FICNSIM, which is written using the Julia language, by pro?ling the source code level of the Julia Language. As a result, we identify the performance bottleneck process of FICNSIM, and investigate the scalability of FICNSIM to the network scale.
