Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | Packet aggregation with compression has been proposed as one of the methods in order to reduce the transmission time, which compresses multiple received packets at a relay node. Meanwhile, in most of off-the-shelf systems, packets are encrypted at every source node for privacy, and regular compression methods are not applicable in principle. Therefore, this paper focuses on encryption-then-compression (EtC) method realizing compression and decompression of encrypted packets as a distributed information source coding problem and proposes a practical and variable compression-ratio EtC method based on Polar codes with cyclic redundancy check (CRC) and the corresponding decompression based on successive cancellation list (SCL) decoding. We further propose efficient packet aggregation with the proposed EtC method, and numerical results confirm its advantage. |
