Fabrication and Performance of Organic Photovoltaic Cells Using Y6 and Triphenylamine Derivatives as Acceptor and Donor Materials

Abstract(in English) Organic photovoltaic cells (OPVs) using Y6 and triphenylamine-based materials, 2-({7-[5-(di-p-tolylamino)thiophen-2-yl]benzo[c][1,2,5]thiadiazol-4-yl}methylene)malononitrile (DTDCTB) and tris[4-(2-thienyl)phenyl]amine (TTPA), as electron acceptor and donor materials, respectively, were fabricated and their performance was examined. An OPV using DTDCTB showed a power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 1.4% under illumination of simulated solar light (AM1.5G、100 mWcm−2). On the other hand, an OPV using TTPA showed a higher PCE of 5.7% than that observed for the DTDCTB-based OPV.
