Abstract(in English) | The inter-vehicle communication (IVC) systems are based on CSMA/OFDM scheme in Japan. However, it is concerned that communication performance is degraded due to hidden terminal problem. Therefore, research has been conducted on simultaneous communication using DS-CDMA (Direct Spread-Code Division Multiple Access). DS-CDMA IVC has the problem that the communication performance is degraded due to the near-far problem and inter-symbol interference. This paper compares the performance of DS-CDMA using the array antenna in a receiving vehicle to reduce these effects and those of normal DS-CDMA and CSMA/OFDM in urban environment. As a result of simulations, it was confirmed that PER (Packet Error Rate) performance of DS-CDMA using the array antenna was better than normal DS-CDMA and CSMA/OFDM regardless of the number of interfering vehicles when the communication range is wide. |
