Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Implantable medical devices need to have their batteries replaced about 10 years after implantation. Wireless power transfer (WPT) from outside the body has been attracting attention as a solution to this problem. In this study, we evaluated the possibility of WPT for devices embedded in the body using the capacitive coupling method. Consequently, $eta_{rm max}$ of 56.6% could be reached for a semicircular coupler with a transmission distance of 5 mm, a radius of 20 mm, and a distance of 10 mm between adjacent couplers. Furthermore, SAR evaluation results showed that WPT is possible with an input power of less than 200 mW, which satisfies safety standards.
