| 抄録(和) | 約15年前にInternational Telecommunication Union Telecommunication Standardization SectorでQuality of Experience (QoE) が定義された．この間，通信環境やユーザが用いる端末の性能は大きく発展している．そのため，当時と現代ではQoEを考慮すべき条件や前提が異なると考えられる．本稿では，まずQoEが定義された時期の通信環境や端末の性能を前提にどのような研究開発が行われていたかを振り返り，現在のQoE研究の動向について述べる． |
| 抄録(英) | About 15 years ago, the International Telecommunication Union Telecommunication Standardization Sector defined the terminology Quality of Experience (QoE). Compared to those days, the performance of the communication environment and the terminals used by users has greatly improved. Therefore, it is considered that the conditions and assumptions for considering QoE differ between those days and the present. In this paper, we first look back on what kind of research and development was done on the premise of the communication environment and terminal performance at the time when QoE was defined, and describe the current trends in QoE research. |
