Abstract(in English) | We assume that emission noise radiated and conducted from electronic device with multiple noise sources can be expressed by the linear frequency weighted sum of the signals of these noise sources. If the degree of influence of each noise source on the emission noise can be estimated, it will be possible to identify the prime noise source for which EMI countermeasures should be taken. In this report, we first clearly define the degree of influence as the influence factor and show that the influence factor can be estimated from the respective power spectra of the emission noise and the noise source signal and the cross spectrum of both. The influence factor of individual noise sources can be estimated if the noise sources are mutually independent. For example, even if all noise sources are white noise, it is possible to estimate those influence factors on the emission noise. |
