Abstract(in English) | In this study, we propose a calculation method of design parameters for bandpass filter (BPF) considering a cross-coupling element. Moreover, a design method of a microstrip type BPF is proposed considering changes in resonant frequency $f_mathrm{i}$ in advance. In a conventional BPF design, many adjustments of a BPF structure are necessary to optimize frequecy responses after determining a initial design based on external quality factor $Q_{mathrm{ex}}$ and coupling coefficient $k$. While, the design parameters as $f_mathrm{i}$, $Q_{mathrm{ex}}$ and $k$ are determined considering an influence of a cross-coupling in a proposal design method. Electromagnetic simulation models of $f_mathrm{i}$, $Q_{mathrm{ex}}$ and $k$ and design charts of them against structure parameters are utilized when dimensions in the BPF structure are determined. However, it is impossible to reflect an influence of a cross-coupling in electromagnetic simulation models above. Therefore, a novel electromagnetic simulation model for accurately calculating a quantity of the cross-coupling is proposed. It is possible to configure an optimum BPF structure without many adjustments. It is shown that a third-order microstrip type BPF applied this method is demonstrated. |
