Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We propose a new method for detecting flood area by using Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR). This method estimates the flood area by use of temporally stacked complex amplitude image of interferometric coherence. It keeps high spatial resolution and detection accuracy. We applied the method to Joso district case of the Kanto-Tohoku Heavy Rainfall Disaster in September 2015 and confirmed that the proposed method especially reduces false positives in non-flood area compared to the conventional method.
