Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this study, we analyze the program code and questionnaire results of a Python programming course given to 48 junior high school students at the Nagoya City University campus on August 11 and 12, 2021. Each student used Google Colaboratory to input the program code for the tasks distributed in advance (168 questions in total) on the day of the class. The programs were recorded on Google Drive and shared with the instructor. The correct/incorrect relationships of the input programs were transformed into coordinates of continuous quantities by calculating eigenvalues and eigenvectors from the similarity matrix, and visualized in a dendrogram using hierarchical clusters. The relationship with the number of correct answers in the questionnaire was confirmed by conjoint analysis, and the relationship with the questionnaire categories was confirmed by quantification type 3.
