Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) As a result of investigating changes in the degree of interest in programming by visual programming for elementary school students, the interest in programming improved. However, it has not been investigated when it is done on a text basis. Therefore, in this research, we developed a programming learning application for smartphones and conducted text-based programming learning for university students who are new to programming. We conducted a pre-questionnaire and a post-questionnaire to investigate changes in the degree of interest in programming and the relationship between the degree of progress. As a result, it was found that the degree of interest in programming could be increased even on a text basis, and there was no correlation between the degree of interest and progress.
