Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We demonstrated the π-phase shift in NbN-based Josephson junction with a weak ferromagnetic Pd89Ni11 interlayer (NbN/PdNi/NbN junctions). The NbN/PdNi/NbN junctions with PdNi thicknesses of 10 - 40 nm were fabricated and studied. The junction show a clear overdamped current-voltage characteristic, which is typically for the SFS junction. We observed a non-monotonic dependence of critical currents on PdNi thicknesses, indicating the interplay of superconductivity and ferromagnetism. From the fitting an expression of the Usadel equation on the experimental data, the 0- and π-region with respect to PdNi thickness could be expected. We selected junctions with PdNi thickness in the expected π-region and fabricated SFS-SQUIDs for measuring the magnetic field-dependent critical currents. A π-phase shift has been observed in the modulation pattern of SFS-SQUID, which is evidence for the π-state of the junction.
