Abstract(in English) | Our previous study proposed a blindly-detectable direct-spread spectrum (DSS) method using linear prediction (LP) residue. This method was based on the assumption that the two LP residues obtained in neighboring frames are correlated. Since this method is processed on a frame-by-frame basis, it requires accurate frame synchronization for message detection. This paper proposes a frame synchronization method that is robust against frame desynchronization attacks. The proposed method was based on the assumption that the correlation between the LP residues used for embedding and for detection when the frames are synchronized is higher than those when the frames are not synchronized. The accuracy of the frame synchronization and the synchronisation tolerance at different strength setting levels were analyzed to evaluate the proposed method. The results showed that frames are successfully synchronized with an accuracy of more than $90%$ at a strength setting level of $-15$ dB. The results also showed that the proposed method is robust against frame desynchronization attacks. |
