Abstract(in English) | Machine learning using electroencephalographs (EEG) data can be used to infer various human states such as emotions and activities. Because there are devices to obtain EEG with different numbers of electrodes, there is a challenge to train neural networks using input data with various sizes. It can be a problem when fine-tuning pre-trained models to apply it to different tasks, such as different users. In order to solve this problem, this paper proposes a pre-training scheme with signal interpolation to learn EEG data with the different number of electrodes at once. Evaluations are conducted to compare the performance of different interpolation methods applied to fine-tuning and meta-learning, respectively. |
