Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In Dynamic Adaptive Streaming over HTTP (DASH), which is the most widespread video delivery service system using the Internet, the bit rate is controlled in order to appropriately share the bandwidth of the bottleneck link among multiple users. In our previous work, we used a rate determination method based on game theory considering user preference to improve Quality of Experience (QoE) in a limited available bandwidth of the bottleneck link. However, this rate decision method does not consider some users in real networks who quit their video sessions in the middle of watching a video (early departure). In this paper, we analyze the adaptability of the previous rate determination method when some users depart early.
