Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | NTT DOCOMO, INC. has been promoting the provision of services and expansion of the communication area of 5G, which is the 5th generation mobile communication system. In addition, in order to provide various 5G services promptly that are expected in the future, we have been considering for realize the concept of Zero Touch Operation that enables the construction and maintenance of mobile networks and services autonomously without the intervention of operator engineers. In order to realize the concept of Zero Touch Operation, we have been introducing the system called Fulfillment Operation Support System (Fulfillment OSS) that automates the construction of the core network. The Fulfillment OSS contributes to improve our network construction work. Currently, we have been developing Transport Network-Fulfillment OSS (TN-FOSS), which is a Fulfillment OSS for the automated construction of transport network. We also consider and establish new workflow (e.g., work procedures, work rules) suitable for automation that are different from existing workflow. This paper describes our efforts. |
