| Abstract(in English) | This paper report on interesting technology and latest trends on core transmission at ECOC 2021, which was held in the form of hybrid conference both site in Bordeaux, France and online, from September 13, 2021 to 16. Although the trend toward high-speed, large-capacity optical transmission beyond 1 Tb/s and 100 GBd continues, I was impressed by the few papers that directly referred to them. On the other hand, there are many reports of device technology, signal processing technology, performance optimization to realize the next generation high speed and large capacity optical transmission, and steady research and development is progressing. |
