Examination of interface using steady-state visual evoked potential by color-reversed live-action image

Abstract(in English) The purpose of this study was to realize a brain-computer interface (BCI) of steady-state visual evoked potential (SSVEP) using color inversion stimuli of photographed images. According to our proposed method, an image selection interface that presents both the visual stimulus fort SSVEP induction and the visual information of choices can be expected. In the experiment, the visual stimuli using photographed images were presented inverted at different frequencies. The subjects gazed at the specified image and measured the electroencephalogram. As a result, the visual stimulus using the photographed images induced SSVEP in the same manner as the pattern reversal stimulus.
