Abstract(in English) | Estimating the direction of arrival (DoA) of radio waves is important for understanding the radio propagation environment. The multiple signal classification (MUSIC) method, which is a typical example of a DoA estimation, has difficulty in estimating the DoA under conditions where coherent waves are incident on uniform circular array (UCA) antennas. In recent years, methods of applying deep learning to DoA estimation, deep learning method, have been proposed, however, no evaluation results for coherent waves have been reported. In this report, we investigate that the possibility of estimating the DoA using a deep learning method under the condition that the coherent waves are incident on the UCA antennas. Computer simulations showed that it was found that the correct probability of the deep learning method was over 90% under the condition that two coherent waves were incident on a five-element UCA antennas. |
