Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this study, packet-level index modulation (PLIM) method for LPWA (Low Power Wide Area) system is focused. The PLIM has been proposed as a method that the additional bits can be added to a frequency index and a time slot index for LPWA packet transmission. The PLIM can use a time redundancy which is not used for packet transmission caused by regulation named Duty Cycle (DC). However, the PLIM needs to synchronize time clock between a transmitter and a receiver. In this study, a differential PLIM is proposed as a new PLIM that does not need the time synchronization. Finally, the performances of demodulation error of DPLIM are evaluated.
