Abstract(in English) | This paper addresses the analysis of the performance of adaptive antenna array based on weight and antenna space control. It is well known that a typical adaptive antenna array with M fixed antennas (AAA-W) can cancel at most M − 1 interference signals. However, adaptive antenna array with two antennas based on weight and space control can cancel more than two interference signals. We were focusing on the modeling of probability density function (PDF) in terms of achieved SINR (Signal to Noise plus Interference signal power Ratio) while the maximum antenna space, SNR (Signal to Noise power Ratio), SIR (Signal to Interference signal power Ratio), and the number of interference signals are given and the direction of arrivals follows uniform distribution. In addition, we provided a model of the parameters in the PDF as a function of SIR and SNR. In this paper, we add the number of interference signals to the model of the parameters since this investigation can provide more general model. Numerical evaluations shows the validity of the distributions based on the proposed models with Kolmogorov-Smirnov statistic and Kullback-Leibler divergence. Moreover, the outage probability of the achieved SINR in case of AAA-WS and AAA-W are obtained in terms of the maximum antenna space, SNR, SIR, and the number of interference signals. The result shows that AAA-WS with two antennas can achieve better performance than AAA-W even with three antennas. |
