Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The coming mobile communication systems such as 5G, ultra-high-speed data transmission is expected anywhere in a cell. In a mobile communication system in which the same frequency uses in all cells, communication quality deteriorates due to inter-cell interference especially in the cell edge. As an interference cancel technique for downlink, the authors proposed an interference cancel technique that applies adaptive beamforming using Massive MIMO antennas to a virtualized cell MU-MIMO canceller, which cancels adjacent cell interference by configuring a virtual cell in cooperation with neighboring base stations and showed that the communication quality can be significantly improved by applying the canceller. In the same way, interference cancel techniques in the uplink are expected. In this paper, we propose an uplink interference cancel technique that applies the proposed technique to the uplink and clarify the effectiveness of its application.
