Nonreciprocal Composite Right/Left-Handed Transmission Lines Using Nonmagnetic Elements

Abstract(in English) In this work, we propose a nonreciprocal composite right/left handed (CRLH) transmission line using nonmagnet elements. An array of microstrip-line ring resonators loaded with isolators is inserted in the dielectric substrate of the CRLH transmission line to achieve the gyromagnetic characteristics. It is found from the numerical simulation results that the power absorption in the ring resonators depends on the direction of propagation along the CRLH line. The nonreciprocal transmission characteristics with the isolation of higher than 20 dB were obtained in the negative index frequency region. Keywords
